I'm in Chicago for a while and interested in meeting some new friends, maybe more. Humor is important to me, although you wouldn't know it from this drab and tedious description of myself. Guess I'm just shy here. Not a lot of experience writing 1000 character descriptions of myself. I'm trying to come out of my shell a bit and meet new people, have some fun, and engage in life more fully. Aw, crap, that sounds just awful. There's no good way to write these things, is there? I like intelligent people, but I don't like snobs. I like gentle people with kind hearts. I'm really turned off by aggressive, hard-hearted people. I'm passionate but not dramatic. I believe in compassion and openness not because they are some mystical mandate (he he, man date), but because life is just better with compassion as a goal. Ugh, this is awkward.
