I'm a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill. I am double majoring in Biology and Biological Anthropology and minoring in English, which is completely random, I know. I am unsure of what to say. I appreciate the dualities in life. Motivational quotes make me really angry. For fun: swimming, running, reading. I love books more than anything. Rawn,McEwan, Dostoevsky, Nabokov, Faulkner, Johnson, Faulkner, Frazier, Palahniuck, Safran Foer, Morrison, Fitzgerald, Gardner, Orwell, Vonnegut, etc. are probably my best friends. Real life just doesn't compare, haha. I've always had an ungrounded fear of staplers and velcro and an affinity for shoelaces and the color orange. Music makes my world go round. Joanna Newsom, The Avett Brothers, The Libertines, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver,Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Shins are all amazing. I did in fact vote for CHOPE in this year's election though I leave politics to those with more time and lower morals than myself. Personality wise, people tell me that I am funny. They are wrong. I've always wanted to own one of those bright yellow raincoats and boots, but a) I've never seen them for sale and b) bananas are my least favorite fruit. Speaking of sexual innuendos, I am in fact gay. I think the gay community, as a whole, are a bunch of egotistical cry babies. I enjoy the male body and all it entails as much as the next queer, but I like to think of myself as an individual, a thinker, a writer, a reader, a worker, a work of art, a work of science, a work of religion which is like art and science in so many ways, a juggler, a playing-with-my-dog-while-contemplating-existencer , a person BEFORE I consider myself a gay.
