Well to start i am a very identity driven person. Identify as a Gay Chaldean Iraqi-American Christian Progressive Man. I feel strongly about all aspects of my identity and will fight hard to protect and promote my identity. I am a Taurus Sun, Libra Rising and Aquarius Moon, i am loyal, stubborn, fair, caring, honest and controlling of my emotions. I can have a hectic schedule at times. I work crazy hours, have lots of friends and always have something to do, but i always make time for someone I love. Right now I live and work in Kalamazoo, however I'm in detroit at least once a week. I plan on investing and settling in the City of Detroit in the near future. I work within the social justice movement. I hold really strong progressive values and really need someone in my life that not only understands what that means but holds true to those values as well. I am Pro-Choice, and I believe that everyone in life should be given the opportunity to succeed in life. My spiritual and cultural background are huge parts of my life. I am not one to assimilate at all, and even though my skin is light and i could give up my identity and take advantage of white privilege, i refuse to. I strongly believe America was never intended to become a melting pot powered by assimilation but rather a mixing bowl powered by diversity.
