umm.. laid back, chill, and down to earth. Love music. It's life. I'm a web developer in San Diego, and love it!
What type of guy are you?
So, it isn't obvious from being on here, but I'm not very gay in person. I jokingly say I fly stealth, under the gaydar. I'm also a vegitarian. I'm not a hardcore vegan, or anything like that. But I try my best not to eat anything containing anything that once belonged to a living animal...except fish. Fuck sealife! haha j/k.. My reasons are too many to list here, but mainly involve both physical and mental health. Animals aren't people, but they do deserve to live free and die humanely. Plus, in this day and age, we really don't need to raise and slaughter animals to feed ourselves. There are much healthier and better tasting ways to quench your hunger!
MUSIC IS LIFE. I couldn't imagine not having music in my life. I started singing when I was like 3 years old. My mom had me taking vocal and piano lessons by the time I was 8. While I hated piano, I did manage to learn enough to play what I needed to. I've sung solo and in choirs too many times to count. My high school Jazz Choir (Folsom High), was the top ranked jazz choir in the U.S., and we got to play the Monterey Jazz Festival 3 years in a row! I also belonged to a private a capella choir in Santa Barbara, whose concerts sell out every year.
Recently, I haven't been doing much musically myself, other than mixing audio for bands. I really do enjoy it. I consider my position behind the boards to be just as crucial as a guitarist playing on the stage. I can make or break a show depending on how well I perform, and hence, how well it sounds to the audience. Right now I'm going to be working for Ernie Ball, doing web design and event production. While this is an incredible opportunity for me, and Ernie Ball seems like a great company, I hope one day to be mixing audio full time, and not just during the summer months on Warped Tour.
