I'm not sure if my profile is effective. I just like to look at it. So, now, gentle reader, so do you. The truth is I use humor to cover up my weak points. I'm told that alot of people do this, so it makes me feel less special. My parents always told me that I could do and be whatever I wanted in life. They just failed to mention that I would have to work hard at it. Really, who wants to work hard? Not me. Bleh. I've come to love taking walks in the middle of the night to clear my head, or just to go out in the cool night air. People have said that I'm a night owl. What do they know? For my mother there isn't anything I wouldn't do. Everything I learned about deep love and passion I learned from her. I love to read, I'm into David Sedaris right now. The easiest way to describe myself might be to say that I'm forthright. Not totally aggressive, but direct and quick. I've got a positive and youthful manner about me. When I see something I want I generally go for it, without any malice or ill intent. This leads me to be competitive at times, but I'm hardest on myself really. I have a very long and detailed memory, but I don't like to hold onto anger or guilt. I should say that I'm diplomatic in most cases rather than to be forceful or loud. I appreciate this quality in others as well. I don't like discord and I'll more than likely compromise in a given situation. Also, I'm a vegetarian these days. In another light I can be seen as slightly arrogent, impatient and crass. I've given in to sulking at times. I try to balance everything in my life which is almost impossible to do effectivly. While my feelings may get hurt easily I'll rarely show that I've been insulted. My sarcasm is a defense mechanism that grew out of being insecure. Sometimes I can appear self-sacrificing which other people refer to as martyrdom. I've got a silly side that takes over and hijacks my conversations. I love to laugh and I like to make people laugh in return. I'm adept at pulling out any and all emotions for specific occasions. That's not to say that I'm fake, but at times I have trouble expressing how truly deeply I feel about a certain subject so I just divulge my surface attitude rather than dig too far down.
