So, I guess a lot of people would consider me "too old" for this kind of website. I hope that there will be someone who takes me seriously enough to find out whether I have anything interesting to say or not. I am ashamed to admit that when I was in my 20s I looked on 50+ as being ridiculously old, so possibly it is some form of poetic justice that I should meet with that same attitude.

I like to keep myself fit with swimming, running, cycling and the gym.  Whenever I get the opportunity I use my fitness activities to get involved in fund raising for good causes...if it involves endurance, raised heart-rate and some hard work, count me in!

I really get a blast from riding my bikes. I have a "Giant" road bike entry level but a great ride and a mountain bike (also a Giant). I do a 20 mile commute each day on one or the other of them.
